Once you pay them your money, they are no where to be found. I ended up giving up almost $4k

Was terrible. I gave up almost $4k: when I tried to contact them to cancel my flight ticket, I could t reach them.

Only to reach their third parties and got scammed.

When I reached them, they couldnt locate my flight ticket and got more frustrated. Was a total lost of money and affected my entire family.

When I bought my ticket, they messed up with my last name and when I asked to fix it, they did so my miles could be added to my Miles and Smiles account.
When they did that, they also took control of my ticket, and the nightmare began.
I bought a flexible ticket because I might need to change my return ticket, and it was a mess. Still, eventually, Turkish Airlines changed the date of my ticket to February 12, 2024, from Malaga-Caracas with a stopover of two hours in Istanbul. I would be arriving home on February 13th to be with my family for a week.
Nine days ago, on January 15th I got an email that said that my connection flight was canceled for "operational reasons" and now I had to stay at the airport from February 12 at midnight to February 15 at 2am, my 2 hours stopover turned into a 50 hours stopover.
I've contacted them several times, through several means, and they affirm that Gotogate has control of the ticket, however, it was them who took control of the ticket, and they even changed it before.
I'm still hoping that some miracle will make them see the light and notice that a 50-hour stopover is cruel and terrible customer service, especially because they don't offer any sort of help or compensation.
What should I do for 50 hours at the airport?

If you have a confirmed ticket, you will still not be able to board the flight. They have the right to deny you boarding due to business decision to protect their profits.

They dont care about passengers. They will promise you overbooking compensation at the airport but they will not respond to your emails and calls to actually provide you that compensation. They treated us like dogs on the airport, denying us access to our own checking bags that had medicines, chargers etc. Customer support is literally a call center that has no control over such matters, every time you call them you get completely different and false information that is not helpful.

They are a big company but they are fraudulent.

There is really no accountibility with this airlines, they are terrorists that treat you like animals and then dont even care. Also they are racist, they do racial profiling of Asians and Africans and deny them boarding.

We were hassled at the check-in counter by a long unnecessary interrogation regarding connecting visa which was not required at all for stopovers under 10-12 hours haults. Moreover, were later rejected to board the flight stating missing information data under our return flight booking through Flight Centre wasting all our time at the check-in counter itself ending up making us miss our flight and been reflected as a No Show.

The staff was super rude and couldnt even speak much English despite being at the international airport department and we incurred a financial loss of $6600 AUD as we were forced to purchase a new ticket later costing us delay and monetary loss.
No reimbursement, no refunds, no follow ups, no feedback reverts and no response to our Flight Centre agency who have been trying to chase Turkish Airline headoffice department since 31 September 2023.
Highly not recommended Turkish Airline. Worst travel experience to Turkey, Ankara airport and poorest customer service.
Simply avoid TURKISH AIRLINES at all cost.

To get the information about lost baggage BCNTK39984. My case was very urgent, because I was on trip only for 3 days. The baggage was not arrived with my plane, was told in airport lost baggage office that will get my case to the hotel the next day which should be on Saturday 13 Jan 2024. Case did not arrive. I was calling for 3 days to the given phone number in the Property Irregularity Report +34 93 401**** no any sing time was replied by someone. Please take into note i was calling at working hours shown in the PRR.
Then I've got notification that case arrives to me on Sunday Jan 14 and I was asked by email and SMS if I still at hotel for that day. I've replied back to the given emails even SMS but my email or SMS could not reach to recipients. After all on Sunday Morning I called to call center and told that my case is very urgent because I was leaving the hotel at Monday morning 15 Jan. I was told by operator that she informed the related department about my case and someone from that department will call me back. Did not have any calls back. I went to the Barcelona airport for the back flight without knowing my bag is still there on not. Then thankfully I collected it at BCN airport.
I had very bad experience regarding my lost Baggage and communication issues which created big discomfort for my trip!!!! Very unsatisfied with that service!!!
