I BOOKED A TURKISH AIRLINE FLIGHT FROM BIRMINGHAM UK TO SINGAPORE AS A HOLIDAY FOR MY 72 YEAR OLD WIFE FOLLOWING MAJOR ILLNESS.
AT THE AIRPORT SHE WAS ADVISED THAT HER RESERVATION HAD BEEN CANCELLED AND THAT TO CONTINUE WITH HER FAMILY ON THE SAME FLIGHT SHE WOULD HAVE TO PAY A FURTHER £3,400
WE HAD NEVER CONTACTED THE AIRLINE OR MADE ANY CANCELLATION
THE ORIGINAL TICKET PRICE OF SOME £1900 WAS EVENTUALLY REFUNDED BUT WE ARE STILL OUT OF POCKET BY OVER £1500
FURTHERMORE ON ARRIVAL AT SINGAPORE SHE WAS ADVISED HER RETURN FLIGHT HAD BEEN CHANGED AND SHE HAS TO TRAVEL HOME ALONE.A RUINED HOLIDAY AND APALLING SERVICE FROM TURKISH AIRLINES
